Founded in 2008, CarnivalPhotos.co.uk is a new and expanding resource for event photography. Whilst we have been photographing carnivals for more than four years, we have not made these images available to anyone as we have not until now had an effective means of distribution.
In the past we have simply issued CD's or other media to the event co-ordinators and they have used, shared or published them in their own way. Now we can offer eveyone the opportunity to recap the event and even order digital or printed copies of their favourite moments!
This website is primarily funded by Solent Finance and their generous contributions cover the costs of designing and maintaining CarnivalPhotos.co.uk. We are also proud to be assocciated with Options Photography Studio of Gosport who have attended events with us and added yet more professional photographs taken by their leading portrait photographer.
Despite CarnivalPhotos.co.uk being a new website, we have seen enourmous growth/traffic since we went life at the beggining of te carnival season this year, Starting with the Gosport Carnival, followed by Rowner, Bridgemary and most recently Titchfield - it seems the word is spreading that CarnivalPhotos.co.uk is the first place to go to see what went on!
We are hoping to be invited to yet more carnivals and events throughout 2009 and provide the same professional and exciting service to other communities. Thanking everyone for their support over the years, we will see you all in 2009!
